Innjoo 4 is the 2017 flagship smartphone from Innjoo Mobile and successor to last year’s Innjoo 3. In terms of specifications , there isn’t much difference between the Innjoo 4 and its predecessor except an improvement in hardware and battery life. It sports a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor clocked at 2.3Ghz frequency and a 3400mAh battery. Here’s everything you need to know.

 

 

 

 

About The Innjoo Flagship Series

Innjoo introduced the flagship series to distinguish their high-end devices from their mid/low-end smartphones and also a platform to display their best smartphone for the year.

The first flagship device (Innjoo One) was released in February 2015 followed by Innjoo 2 (Late 2015) , Innjoo 3 (2016) and most recently Innjoo 4 (2017)

Design , Display & Camera :

The Innjoo 4 features a 5.5 inch FHD display similar to that of its predecessor. There’s no change here. The display has a resolution of  1920 x 1080 and a 400 ppi density. In terms of design , Innjoo 4 features a polished metallic body with slight curvature at the edges , thanks to the presence of 2.5D glass. This phone is available in just 2 colours ; Gold and Black.

In terms of camera , this smartphone come with 16MP back camera , which is a downgrade of its predecessor (Innjoo 3 has 21MP back camera).  For selfies and video calls , the front camera has 5MP resolution.

 

Hardware , Software & Security :

The Innjoo 4 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with a possiblility of getting Android 7.0 Nougat update at a time determined by the phone’s manufacturer. It comes with a super fast MediaTek Helio x20 deca-core chipset with a processor speed of 2.3Ghz. This smartphone ships with  4GB RAM for multitasking and 64GB internal storage. and if you want more storage , you can use an external SD Card of up to 128GB.

 

The Innjoo 4 supports 4G LTE network with FDD 1800 (LTE Band 3) frequency which , according to research , works with only Etisalat & nTel 4G LTE Network in Nigeria.

In terms of security , the Innjoo 4 supports fingerprint security , which is now a frequent addition to modern smartphones. The fingerprint is found at the rear of the device.

 

Battery Life :

This smartphone comes with a 3400 mAh battery which is an upgrade on the 3000mAh of last year’s Innjoo 3.  A battery of this capacity is expected to last at least 8 hours of constant usage.

As at the time of writing , Innjoo 4 is not yet available in the country but is expected before the end of Q2 of 2017.  Innjoo 4 price in Nigeria is rumored to be above #120,000 and could go as high as #150,000 , depending on the prevailing market forces.   • Why such limited 4G LTE support on a upper midrange device?
    Very beautiful phone with interesting specs but no consideration if I can’t get LTE.

  • the phone is kind of pricey. however,the 4GB and DECA core processor is something smartphone lovers would kill for at that price.
