With just eight phones in their entire lineup and nearly five years of market presence, OnePlus is a really young player while brands like Motorola and Nokia have been around for decades.
But OnePlus doesn’t feel like a new kid on the block based on their phones, they feel like a well-established manufacturer who knows its customers well.
Their latest smartphone, the OnePlus 6 hits all the right notes with its bezel-less screen, fast processor, glass back, fast charging and great cameras. It even includes the controversial notch, which has divided opinion. But with a new OnePlus launch, we felt it would be a great time to head back into memory lane and knock onto the history of the OnePlus phones.
The team at Topcut.in even created a beautiful infographic that illustrates OnePlus’ journey from their very first phone to their latest one.
OnePlus set sail into the sea of smartphones with their OnePlus One. The One was a different phone at its time, it didn’t have a plasticky build, nor was it slow and lagging and riddled with bloatware like the other smartphones of its era.
The OnePlus One had all the fancy technology of flagship phones like Snapdragon 801 processor, Full HD screen, 3GB RAM and 64GB storage but best of all it had a very affordable $300 price. The impressive spec sheet at the mouth-watering price meant the OnePlus One went from zero to a million units sold in less than a year.
Since then OnePlus has kept at it delivering impressive features at a very competitive price point, keeping up to their motto of “Never Settle” . The infographic below illustrates the OnePlus’ desire to one best its previous smartphone. So have a look at the infographic below and let us know which OnePlus is your favorite.
