A new rumour is making the rounds, and this time OnePlus is the culprit. According to the details of the rumour, the Asian phone maker is already in the works over the device that would take the baton from the OnePlus X. While the rumour did nothing to suggest what name this new device would be called, it did well to point out some possible specs on the upcoming unit.
Part of what was spelt out included a 5.5 inch of screen, under which would be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset nestled on top of a decent 4GB of RAM. While there would be no options for CPU memory, internal storage space would be offered in options of either 32GB or 64GB. The back would pay home to a dual camera setup of unknown camera configurations, but selfie needs would be taken care of by the rather generous 16MP front camera.
Additionally, a 3000mAh battery, with Dash Charge, of course, would power the special features such as a Face Unlock system. For all of that, the device was not expected to sell more than prices within the range of $235 – $265.
However, the CEO of Xiaomi, Carl Pei, has sent out a tweet to debunk any such rumours. According to him, the company is not working on any successor to the OnePlus X. If they were though, we would like to see those specs and more come to life
