Design & Display
The Fero Iris is similar to the Zoom in this department as in many others, featuring a 5-inch IPS LCD display with an HD (720 * 1280) pixel resolution. It offers moderate display quality and colour reproduction.
This smartphone has a metal aluminium frame and Titanium-based metallic back panel. It uses capacitive navigation buttons placed on the bottom bezel at the front, while the top bezel houses the selfie shooter, LED flash, earpiece, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
It also has a dedicated sensor on the top bezel at the front, which is the iris scanner that replaces the fingerprint scanner. This sensor allows you to unlock your smartphone with your eyes, though this might not be entirely fool-proof and should be backed up with a strong password or unlock pattern. The fero iris weighs just 140 grammes and comes with a thickness of 9 millimetres.

The Fero Iris is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, while its graphics operations are carried out by a Mali-T720 GPU.
It comes with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD Card.

Like the Fero Zoom, the Fero Iris sports an 8MP camera with autofocus and a LED flash which provides lighting at the rear. Both smartphones also have a similar setup at the front, which consists of a 2MP camera useful for video chats.

The battery capacity in the Fero Iris has been pumped up to 2500mAh, offering an extended usage time. The battery can also be removed, which is useful when the phone freezes or encounters an hardware problem.
